Our Multi-Tiered Clothing QC Process
Our systematic approach to garment quality inspection spans the entire production lifecycle, from raw materials to finished goods. We function as an extension of your own team, providing relentless clothing factory quality control.
Pre-Production Quality Assurance
Fabric & Trim Inspection: All incoming materials are checked for weight, color consistency, weave defects, and shrinkage against approved standards.
Lab Testing Coordination: We arrange and manage independent lab tests (e.g., colorfastness, pilling, shrinkage) as required.
Production Capability Approval: We verify that factory lines and workers are calibrated to meet the specific technical requirements of your order.
First Article Inspection: The first pieces off the line are thoroughly examined against the approved sample for fit, measurements, sewing, and construction.
Line Monitoring: Regular checks of random garments ensure consistency in workmanship, stitch quality, and component application (buttons, zippers, prints, embroidery) as the order runs.
Pre-Shipment Inspection
AQL Standard Implementation: We statistically sample a significant portion of the finished order (based on AQL standards like ISO 2859-1) to determine the overall batch acceptability.
Comprehensive Check: Each sampled garment is inspected for visual appearance, measurements, function, labeling, packaging, and overall workmanship.
Detailed Report with Evidence: You receive a digital report with pass/fail status, defect classifications (critical, major, minor), and clear photos of any issues found.
Container Loading Supervision
Carton & Packaging Check: Verification of correct packing methods, carton marks, and polybag safety compliance.
Loading Oversight: Supervision of the container loading process to prevent damage, pilferage, or mixing of orders.

Apparel Quality Control FAQ
If you have any other questions that haven’t been addressed, please send us an email.
Q: What AQL level do you typically follow?
A: We standardly follow AQL 2.5 for Major defects and AQL 4.0 for Minor defects for general apparel, which is the industry benchmark for balanced risk. This can be tightened or adjusted based on your specific product risk and brand requirements.
Q: Who conducts the inspections?
A: Inspections are conducted by our dedicated, trained internal QC team. For an additional layer of objectivity, we can also coordinate independent third-party inspection services at your request.
Q: What happens if a batch fails the Final Random Inspection (FRI)?
A: In the rare case of failure, we immediately halt shipment and provide you with the full report. We then present a corrective action plan for your approval, which may include 100% sorting, repair, or in extreme cases, remaking the order, at our cost, to meet the agreed standard.
Q: Can we define our own quality checkpoints?
A: Absolutely. We view our clothing QC process as collaborative. We will integrate your specific checkpoints, measurement tolerances, and testing requirements into our standard inspection plan.
